About Wandres Law

Wandres Law offers a unique advantage in the Oklahoma courtroom due to their experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants. This allows them to anticipate the opposition’s moves and achieve successful outcomes for clients in settlement negotiations, mediations, and contract negotiations. They pride themselves on maintaining a friendly, communicative relationship with clients. We highly value the attorney-client relationship and encourage clients to approach their attorneys or assistants with any questions they may have.

Wandres Law Future Lawyer Scholarship

At Wandres Law, self fulfillment, community and gratitude are high on the list of things we value most. We take giving back very seriously because we understand that many who came before us did the same. In that spirit, we would like to announce our Wandres Law Future Lawyer Scholarship award!

This scholarship will seek to provide a $1000 scholarship to a high school senior or college undergrad who is aspiring to become an attorney.

We understand that there are many challenges and obstacles to pursuing a career as a lawyer and our hope is that this scholarship will help a talented young person to eliminate some of those obstacles and ultimately contribute positively to the legal profession.

Eligibility

• Rising high school seniors interested in pursuing a legal career
• Undergraduate college students demonstrating pursuit of a legal career
• All eligible candidates must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.

Selection Process

• Deadline for submissions: Dec 31st, 2023
• Winner will be announced: Jan 2024

How To Apply

Students who would like to apply for consideration should submit a 500 word essay on the topic: “Why I’m Choosing To Become A Lawyer” Within your essay, please address each subtopic below.

• How your unique personal experiences and values lead you to choose a career in law.
• How this scholarship will help you achieve your goals.
• How you plan to use your legal education to make a meaningful impact on society and promote social justice.

Application Guidelines

• Your essay should paint a clear picture of why you’re deserving of this scholarship and provide insight as to what you hope to contribute to society as an attorney.
• Essays should use a Word or Google Doc format.
• Applicants should include their name, address, phone, and an unofficial transcript.
• Essays should be emailed to scholarship@wandreslaw.com
