Victor Wandres

Attorney Victor Wandres

Since 2010, Victor has focused almost exclusively on Oklahoma consumer protection law, including suing debt collectors for unlawful harassment under the Fair Debt Practices Act (FDCPA), and debt lawsuit defense in Oklahoma. In addition, mainly due to his exposure to New Orleans music while a student at Tulane University, his practice also includes representation of artists, including all aspects of music law — contracts, licensing, copyright and trademarks.

Awards & Recognitions

An Eagle Scout and native Tulsan, firm Partner Victor Wandres practiced with several law firms and served as General Counsel for a major property management company after graduation from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Before law school, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tulane University in New Orleans. Thereafter, Victor was employed at New Orleans’ world-famous Audubon Zoo. His team later participated in the Saul Lefkowitz National Moot Court Competition where his team brief won the Dolores K. Hanna Award for Best in the Nation. Later that year, Victor founded and secured initial financing for the University’s third legal journal, the Oklahoma Journal of Law and Technology. The journal was Oklahoma’s first exclusively online legal journal. Victor has served in several elected positions within the Tulsa County Bar Association, and has been honored as a Top 100 Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyer’s.
