Another Policy Limits Settlement

We had the pleasure of resolving another claim for a client this week, and obtained the policy limits from Drivers Insurance Company. Our client was injured here in Oklahoma in an auto accident caused by a person insured with Drivers Insurance Company, which is based in Georgia. Prior to our involvement, Drivers was unwilling to offer anything more than a fraction of our client’s medical damages even after we put them on notice of our representation. Therefore, we filed a lawsuit and aggressively pursued the case up to the point of pre-trial. Recognizing that we were ready and willing to try the case, Drivers agreed to pay the maximum amount under the policy in order to avoid trial. Our client is happy, and so are we.
