Woman killed in wreck with semi truck

Atoka County, OK (October 31, 2020) — A north Texas woman is killed in a wreck in southeast Oklahoma.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 65-year-old Sylvia J. McCoy of Beford, Texas was driving her 2017 Toyota Corolla on U.S. 69 in Atoka County when she was struck by a semi truck.
The semi truck was driven by 49-year-old Darwin T. Clark of St. Louis. He was not injured.
McCoy was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Brown’s Funeral Home in Atoka. The cause of the collision is pending investigation.
