Wandres Law Future Lawyer Scholarship
At Wandres Law, self fulfillment, community and gratitude are high on the list of things we value most. We take giving back very seriously because we understand that many who came before us did the same.
In that spirit, we would like to announce our first Wandres Law Future Lawyer Scholarship award!
This scholarship will seek to provide a $1000 to a high school senior or college undergrad who is aspiring to become an attorney.
We understand that there are many challenges and obstacles to pursuing a career as a lawyer and our hope is that this scholarship will help a very talented young person to eliminate some of those obstacles and ultimately contribute positively to the legal profession.
Selection Process
Deadline for submissions is March 1, 2020 – Winner will be announced July 1, 2020
To help combat the ever-growing cost of education, we’re offering an annual scholarship of $1000
The scholarship will be provided to one student who is either a high school senior, enrolled at either a community college or University and who has plans to attend law school. The scholarship will be offered for the fall 2020 semester and paid on July 1st, 2020.
How to Apply
Students who would like to apply for consideration should submit a 500 word essay on the topic: “Why I’m Choosing To Become A Lawyer”.
Application Guidelines
- Your essay should paint a clear picture of why you’re deserving of this scholarship and provide insight as to what you hope to contribute to society as an attorney.
- Essays should be emailed to scholarship@wandreslaw.com or submitted using the form on this page.
- Word or Google Doc Format is acceptable.
- Applicants should include their name, address, phone, and links to social media profiles (for identity and school enrollment confirmation)
